28 Responsible Supply Chain / Human Rights Approach to Responsible Supply Chain Management We respect the diversity of all internal and external partners, including business partners. Our basic policy is to build fair and transparent relationships based on mutual trust and respect. We have established unique product handling standards to maintain a responsible supply chain. We have established an appropriate management system, such as conducting prior checks on products to be handled as necessary. In addition to revitalizing capital markets through our business, we position the revitalization of local communities and the resolution of social issues as key management issues. We promote the circulation of regional economies through collaboration with local governments and business partners. We also promote initiatives toward the realization of a sustainable society. Key Initiatives, Indicators, and Targets We continuously promote initiatives for contributing to local communities and realizing a responsible supply chain. In our reconstruction support for the Great East Japan Earthquake, we have continuously placed orders with production companies in Fukushima Prefecture through the "Made in Fukushima" project. We also contribute to regional revitalization by introducing local products through the Premium Yutai Club and promoting collaboration with local governments. We will specify indicators and targets for these initiatives. We will establish a system to more appropriately grasp and evaluate regional contribution and social impact. We will strive to further enhance our disclosure content. Basic Policy and Promotion Structure for Human Rights Under our philosophy of MAXIMIZE CORPORATE VALUE, we conduct business activities aimed at realizing a sustainable society. We regard respect for human rights as a key management issue, comply with laws and regulations, and respond sincerely to society’s expectations and demands. Our Code of Conduct prohibits unfair discrimination and harassment and requires us to respect the diversity of all internal and external partners, including business partners, and to act on the basis of mutual respect and trust. By promoting diversity and inclusion, we are creating a workplace where diverse talent can fully demonstrate their abilities and building a fair and vibrant organization. Key Initiatives, Indicators, and Targets We view respect for human rights as a key management priority and are committed to creating a workplace where everyone can work safely and perform to their full potential. Our initiatives include flexible work arrangements, a 100% return-to-work rate following childcare leave, and internal and external consultation channels. We also operate the Risk and Compliance Committee and whistleblowing system to prevent and promptly address human rights violations, harassment, and other misconduct. We will continue to strengthen these efforts, reduce human rights risks, and foster a fair and safe workplace for all employees.
